Life has been wonderful! Married life is treating us well. Last month we took a beautiful vacation with my in-laws. It was so great I think we will be going again next year! There is so much going on right now I don't even know where to start. First, I've decided to start blogging. So hopefully you will see more blog post's. The plan is to highlight my photography of course and then talk about the house and what's going on in our lives as newlyweds.
One thought is traveling is a must! It's good for the mind and the soul. With both the husband and I working full time and having crazy busy careers we don't get to see each other as much as we would like but hard work pays off! We have decided one of our yearly traditions will be traveling, I can't wait for our next adventure!
So where to begin... our house remodel is coming along! I took a break for a while but now its time to start on our upstairs. First I will be painting, getting new baseboards, and then all the shopping will begin. The husband just made this beauty:
I am so lucky I married a handyman! It looks great in our entryway.
Every week we are adding new pieces. This week my favorite buy is our record player! Our vinyl's just arrived so for the past few days we have been jamming out to Beethoven... I guess that was the only thing at the thrift store when the husband went shopping. Over the weekend we made a big haul. We went to every home decor store in Wichita. Here are a few pictures of how the house is looking now.
So this is what the house looked like when we unloaded the car. I was very impressed the husband lasted all day we started at 9:00 AM and finished at 5:00 PM. (He was kinda a trooper)
Along with all our new crazy adventures, one chapter in our life will soon be over. WE ARE GRADUATING IN MAY! I have loved (almost) every minute of college but cannot wait to focus more time on real estate. Lucky for me I will be finished but the husband will be going right back to get his masters (hehehehe) I'm sure he will love that!
As many of you know I have started my career in real estate working with Coldwell Banker Plaza Real Estate. I AM LOVING EVERY MINUTE. The real estate industry is something that I have always found interesting and I can't wait to be doing it everyday. One day I will tell you what sparked desire to become an Realtor. The hubs took a few pictures for my business cards. I have to say he's not to shabby.
Now onto photography. I will just say I never imagined my photography business would be doing this great! All of my clients are amazing and so supportive. Recently, several friends have gotten engaged so I have had the pleasure of taking lots of engagement pictures, which is one of my absolute favorites! 2016 is going to be the year for lots of love and weddings <3 which every photographer loves!
